Yamaha CL Series and Dante network workshop in Dubai receives enthusiastic response.
Yahmaha cl dec (640x304)   The Yamaha Commercial Audio Center, jointly run by Yamaha Music Gulf and Yamaha Distributor Thomsun Trading is a place for specialised trainings on Yamaha products and technology. Hundreds of Live sound and Broadcast engineers have benefited from the free seminars and trainings taking place here regularly. One such event that received overwhelming response from Live sound Engineers as well as production and event rental company technicians, was the two day CL Series and Dante Networking workshops. With increasing number of event -riders and acts requesting for the CL series consoles, the hands-on workshop was designed to help attendees become familiar with the hardware, system setup and configuration. The workshop provided them with the opportunity to not only train on the console operation but also helped them understand the concepts of configuring different Dante Networks and using the highly flexible and modular RiO Dante remote I/O Stage-boxes. A set of two independent CL5 and Rio3224D systems was setup at the YCAC on each day of the workshop. Each set of participants therefore was able to test the features of the console and set-up the system on their own. The structured approach to the workshop was appreciated by all participants. Technical support engineers and YCAC trainer Varun Ashokan was on hand to help the participants along with Alok Ghurde, Application Support Manager who made the presentations. Mr. Shinya Uchida, AV/PA Sales Department from Yamaha Music Gulf inaugurated the workshop and welcomed participants. Speaking on the sidelines of the workshop, Biju Thomas, General Manager at Thomsun Trading; reinforced his company‚Äôs commitment to holding many such sessions and assured participants that the company saw these workshops as a key to delivering reliable pre and post sales service to the Industry and bringing it closer to its customer.
